Ghana Harb Conord Ghana Harb Conord is a Lebanese American journalist, writer, and entrepreneur. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Today’s Outlook, one of the Middle East’s premier fashion and lifestyle magazines. After earning her MBA in the United States, Ghana launched Today’s Outlook in Beirut in 1996, developing it into Lebanon’s first all-English language fashion and lifestyle magazine, famous not only for its insightful coverage of lifestyle issues, but also for its “Success Stories” section, featuring one-on-one interviews with hundreds of prominent and up-and-coming Lebanese and Arabs from around the world. In 2007, under the patronage and in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sister of the Emir of Kuwait, Ghana launched the Kuwait Edition of her magazine during a gala dinner hosted at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City. In 2011, she launched the Qatar Edition at a dinner gala hosted by the U.S. Ambassador to Qatar. Today’s Outlook became the preferred in-room magazine at over 30 five-star hotels throughout the Middle East. Today, the magazine also enjoys a strong presence in the digital world, particularly on Instagram, with close to 200,000 followers. In her 23-year journalism career, Ghana has interviewed over 1,300 celebrities in 51 countries and has led the publication of over 180 issues of Today’s Outlook magazine, each comprised of 200+ pages. Ghana enjoys volunteering and supporting humanitarian causes. She has served as a mentor at schools and colleges in Lebanon, Kuwait, Qatar, Peru and Madagascar, as well as in Washington, D.C. and Florida. Ghana speaks Arabic, French, English and Spanish. She resides with her husband and three children between Florida, Washington, D.C. and the Middle East. |
