Janice Jamail-Garvis

Janice Jamail-Garvis is the owner of JAMAIL REAL ESTATE, INC., a real estate brokerage firm in Houston, Texas. She has been licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission for over 30 years and is the firm's Real Estate Broker of Record. She is a graduate of the University of Houston. She has served on a variety of organizations, served on their committees, task forces, and has organized and participated in numerous political and charitable fundraisers. Over the most recent years, one of her main focuses has been with the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, and the Houston Association of Realtors as member volunteer where she has served in a variety of capacities from the areas of education to political lobbying. She has been honored by her peers over the years on a variety of occasions for her dedication to her profession. Because of her dedication to the preservation of private property rights and the real estate industry, and being a sincere advocate of free enterprise she has become extremely involved in the political process in this country which instigated invitations from Realtor State Associations across the country to address their membership. Although she is a native Houstonian, she is a second generation Lebanese-American, and is very proud of her heritage. Both sets of her grandparents (Gemayel and Mozloon) migrated to the United States at the end of the 19th century and soon became United States citizens. Her family has instilled in all the generations the importance of the liberties we are graced in this country and the importance of protecting those liberties. Janice's father, Abe Jamail is the state of Texas' most highly decorated war hero of World War II and has been the pride of all Americans, especially in the Lebanese community.
